Things I love lately

So I am always in to reading new things about health, fitness, diet, basically anything to do with that. I have read many books in the past i.e. In Defense of Food, Fast Food Nation, etc. So recently I just read Jillian Michaels-Master your Metabolism. WOW what an awesome book!!! I have major hormone levels and this book explains them all, and why they get messed up. I suggest everyone read this book. Not only does it talk about hormones but also talks about why you should eat non processed foods and more clean foods. She says “if it doesn’t grow from the ground, or does not have a mother DON”T eat it!” uhhh yeah hello!!! I rarely eat anything processed. I truly think the reason American’s have so many health problems are because of processed foods. I wish we lived in a country where everything was readily available such as: fresh fruits and veggies (without all the pesticides and steroids), fresh fish and poultry, basically anything you can find at a small market like you see in the movies. It sucks that America is so about now now now, fast  fast..we need to take the time to prepare our foods from wholesome ingredients from the ground, not a package!!! Anyway I can go on an on. Just read this book if it seems appealing.

This is a unique 12-week system to plan for success, track your progress, and reach your goals. 1. have a game plan whether your goals are to tone up or slim down, it’s important to write down your goals. set your 12-week goals – then set smaller goals on a weekly basis so you have a plan for achieving your long-term goals. 2.track your progress record your workouts and log your food intake – research shows that the act of just putting this info down on paper is key to reaching your goals. plus – you can go back and see your progress throughout the entire 12 weeks. 3.reach your goals reflect on your 12-week goals, log your accomplishments, and reward yourself!

I love this book I can write down each day what I am eating, my workouts, my supplements and so forth. The main reason why I love this book is so I can look back and see if what I was doing that week was working.

Suits for rent

Hey guys. Since I always buy a new suit for every competition, I have a few to choose from. I have sold them in the past, but everyone is always asking me where I get my suits…so why not just rent them out right? I am getting a new suit made and I will also be renting that one out as well, it is going to be amazing!!!!

So here are the suits below, each suit has never gotten anything below 3rd place :) the judges have always commented on them and you will be sure to stand out!! Let me know if you are interested and I can give you more details.

Hey guys, yes I have been MIA. I have been catching up on family time and working and the holidays and all that fun stuff! So..soooo much has gone on. I competed in October and for the past few months I have been recovering from that. I had a few hormone/thyroid issues I have been dealing with as well. I am still seeing my doc regularly to make sure all my levels are checked and straight.

Anyway..I have decided to compete again!! I told myself I wasn’t going to for a long time…but I cannot stay away!! I am not doing bikini this time I am doing figure. I have more of a body type for figure since I can pack on muscle easily. I am officially 19 weeks out!!! My show is June 18th.  Yep I am starting early so I can come in lean lean! I am soooo stoked to get back to it and hardcore..I crave this stuff. I meet my nutritionist today to map out a plan. I am a personal trainer myself and I have been competing for 4 years..but no matter what you can never do it alone. I have to have a coach to get me through, test my body fat, tell me what to eat and how much cardio to do and so forth.

So besides all that  I am also judging the local NPC show here in Utah on March 19. It will be a good experience to be on the other side of the stage and learn from it. I am hoping it gives me more confidence and education for my next show.

I am back/competition results

WOW too much going on in life!!! I am sooo sorry I haven’t blogged in FORVER! Work has been super busy with all my 3 jobs! SOOOOO about the competition.

I didn’t place in the top 5 which is fine..I love competing no matter what. There were about 20+ girls in my class and I made first call outs..so I placed at least in the top 10. I know my body is way too muscular for bikini..but oh well..better than being too fat hahaha. Here are a few pics.

So there are a few. We had a blast and I am sad it is over!!! It feels good to be normal again and adding a few more clean calories back in my diet and less cardio. I feel really good. I am still within 5 lbs of my competition weight so that makes me happy!!!!

DEPLETION week

wow what a rough week, this peak weak and contest prep has finally hit me! I have officially hit the wall! It’s ok though it is all worth it. I am also a mega bitch haha. I just want to get to the gym and get it done. I don’t want to smile or talk to anyone. I feel bad..but I just don’t feel good.

THIS week is the most critical!! And it is a very scientific process so you come in looking your tightest and leanest. WIth the combo of how much water you drink, how much sodium to load up on/how much to cut out and when, how many carbs to deplete and how many to load back up on. Since I know my body and how it responds this week will be easy…just tiring. I have been 0 carbs since Sunday..I am officially dumb and brain dead. I truly feel like a zombie!!!

I worked with a new posing coach and she kicks ass!! she made me bring out the sexy! I want the judges to remember me.

My abs are definitely there and tight, my booty is nice, round and plump haha it’s a good thing though. The judges want you to have an ass in bikini.

OLYMPIA

I am back from VEGAS!!! Holy crap it was AMAZING and such an experience and inspiration.

We drove down, it takes about 5 hours, plus we had to take all our food since we are preppping for the show. And we had to drink lots and lots of water. I go through about 2.5 gallons a day. It was hilarious..we stopped every 30 mins, there were a few times I didn’t think I would make it to the bathroom hahaha

I met everyone and anyone that is in the industry. Below are a few pics.  It was a busy busy trip. My girlfriend and I drove down and seriously all we did was workout workout workout, go to the expo, workout and sleep :) we got lots of working out done!!! We are both doing the bikini show so we were focused!!! We had a hotel with a kitchen so we could cook all our food! She surprised me and got us tickets to the finals night!!!!! My girl Erin Stern won figure!!! I love her. Sonia Gonzales won bikini and Jay Cutler won bodybuilding again.

So there are a few!!!

So updates on me. I am working out like crazy and getting leaner each day!! My abs are popping and seeing some ab veins again :) None of my clothes fit..it is great!!

I got my suit!! OMG it is AMAZING!!!! I cannot wait to rock that stage! It is perfect I cannot explain!! Competing is spendy BUT worth it!

I get my eyelash extensions next week, my dark tan, my nails and glitter toes. I might go get a massage and just relax and pamper myself during peak weak as I deplete my carbs and my water.

I got my eye brows done and my laser hair removal done. SO I AM GOOD TO GO!!!!

Just a few more serious cardio sessions left! Lots of fish, egg whites and aspraragus!!

Olympia/fire/updates

WHOA I suck at blogging, hopefully after this competition I can slow down and get back to the swing of things.

UPDATES:

UGH I got evacuated from my house because of this massive wildfire in Utah, it was right by my house..check this pic out SUPER scary!!! Everything is good now though. This was taken from my porch!

Yeah wow, so other than that I am doing tons of cardio and dieting hard!! My weight is dropping wooo hooo!!! My diet is very strict right now..pretty much chicken, fish, broccoli, asparagus, oats, yams, eggs and thats about it. NO dairy and no fruits. I am feeling great though!!!

Tomorrow I leave for viva las vegas for the olympia!!!

We have tickets to the finals night..HOLY crap I am stoked! Me and my girlfriend that competes with me are going!! So all we are going to do is workout workout lay in the sun and workout!! Hitting up the expo and then finals..what an experience it will be! We are both packing all our food because when you compete, that’s what you have to do, also we have a hotel with a full kitchen..so we are good to go!

PS it’s the full moon..watch for crazy things!!!!

Hey guys..yeah I am back for a second. I don’t have to work both jobs today wooo hooo!!! I was up at 4:00 am doing my cardio..it kicked ass!! It always getting me energized and excited. The only thing that gets me out of bed is thinking of the stage :) In the mornings when I do cardio I watch Dexter. Does anyone watch it?? I LOVE it. I never want to stop doing cardio..when I up my sessions to 60 mins it will be easy!!

Other than that I am happy with how I am progressing..my legs and ass are coming down..but my butt is still nice and plump. That is one thing I will never lose…my big ass!! hahaha but the judges sure like it. My abs are also popping and it feels good!

Top Serect

I am hitting up the doctor after work. He is soooo good to me! He helps me achieve all my goals in getting lean..the safest way possible. The diet pill he gave me is doing wonders!!! I am meeting up with him to see if he can help any more to lean me down for the next few weeks and the day of the competition. More to come on that.

I have a training apt with my friens. My energy is sooo low so I like someone there training me and pushing me to my max. Then followed by my favorite!!! Me and the stepmill are best friends.

As for my food..I am not that hungry since I have an appetite suppressor but I am weak and I can feel my blood sugar getting low. Plus I am working about 65 hrs a week and training/cardio on top of that. I love it though..I crave contest prep.

Wow crazy crazy crazy..listen to my schedule lately SHOOT ME!

3:50 am – fasted cardio

-Get ready for work

6-2 work my full time job

2:15-2:55 – lift

3-8 work my second job

8:00- pm more cardio

-Get all my meals packed when I get home

9:30 bedtime

That’s why I haven’t been able to blog lately sorry guys.

Anyway contest prep is kicking ass!!! Things are fighting up and feeling good. My posing is awesome!! Hitting everything and feeling confident. I can’t wait to deplete my water, get my tan on, and get all beautiful!!! I love doing my makeup for the shows..I have some great things in mind. I get butterflies just thinking about it!! I can’t wait to strut my shit on stage!

Holy crap guys…sooooo much to update. Sorry once again I have been busy busy busy working both jobs and doing two a day workouts. I get up around 3:50am do cardio then work 6-2, then lift, then work 4-8 then do more cardio UGH!!! My comp is Oct 9th. I cannot tell you how stoked I am!! I have two suits and I don’t know which one I want to wear!!! Either will look smokin’!! My workouts are kicking ass!! I do bootcamp once a week, then I went hiking this last weekend. I am still lifting and training hard..I just added a little more cardio some intervals, and dropped some foods from my diet. I am starting to get ornery and tired though UGH I hate that part.

So this weekend I went to the Farmers Market..check out the beautiful produce!!!
