Weekend Recap: Big Gulp

2 Aug

Well hello guys how was your weekend?? Mine was pretty unexciting. On Friday night I got a quick shoulder workout in and then headed to the library to study. I am taking my test for the NASM personal training certification at the end of August. I got a few chapters in and called it a night, I think I was in bed around 8:30 (I am a grandma!).

I Heart My Clients

Woke up early Saturday morning to train a few clients by 6:30am. I had so much energy!! I kind of feel bad becase I was pretty brutal. But hey..it’s ok that’s when people get results! I got a few mean texts saying that they can’t move the next day. YES I did my job ๐Ÿ™‚

Trainer trying to kill me

After, I kicked my own butt at the gym. I trained hams and calves. I SMOKED em’. Saunday and still today I am sore..I was limping a little yesterday. It was an awesome workout. The only thing I wanted during and after my workout was lots of water with ICE!!! So my new favorite thing this weekend was Big Gulps YES a BIG GULP!!! A big BIG gulp full of tons of ice and water. HOLY refreshing!! All weekend I was refilling this bad boy. I am pretty sure I drank 2.5 gallons a day. I don’t know what it is, but a big cup or glass of water with a straw makes me drink more.

I also got my nails done on Saturday..oh I love when they are sharp and new and fresh!

That night my boyfriend and I went to go see Dinner with Shmucks. It was pretty funny!!!

Sunday was pretty boring!! I woke up early as usualy to watch infomercials drink a few yummy cups of tea and make breakfast for my boyfriend. I was very disappointed with the infomercials..nothing good and nothing new!! Any good teas you guys can reccomend?? I love tea..my pantry devotes one whole shelf to stevia and tea.

Lately I have been drinking Yerba Mate every morning while I get ready for work.

PS this in my new favorite stevia, it tastes like vanilla beans to me

For the rest of sunday I just worked and then washed my jeep and cooked my chicken for the week.

So….

Did you guys get any killer workouts this weekend?

Any teas you recommend?

Your favorite stevia?

I love regular old green tea and peppermint tea — not sure what brands, whatever looked good at the time!

I used to get Big Gulps full of regular Coke and I’d drink 1-2 per day. I can barely stand the taste of coke at all anymore — I don’t know how I used to ingest that much sugar! Yuck!

LOVE that stevia. Seriously it’s like heaven in a bottle! My favorite way is to put it in cottage cheese or oatmeal!

I love Yerba Mate!! What is your take on coffee with your diet?? Do you drink it every day? Or do you alternate so your body doesn’t get used to the fat burning mechanisms that coffee has?? Just curious!

Not a huge stevia fan, but I tried the liquid stevia you recommended and got the english toffee flavor…so far so good!
