Why is your blog called Bubble Gum Gym Kat? I love bubble gum (sugar free of course) and the flavor of bubble gum. I add bubble gum flavoring to my oats, protein shakes, water…you name it. My name is Kat..so instead of calling myself a Gym Rat..I am a gym Kat

When is your birthday? March 28, 1984

Where are you from? Born and raised in Utah

What do you do for a living? I am an administrative assistant for a brokerage firm and I am a personal trainer on the side

Are you married or in a relationship? I am in a relationship

What is your nationality? Sweedish..yeah weird I know. People think I am Italian.

What do you drive? The Barracuda – my black Jeep Wrangler

Favorite cheat food? Sushi and Coldstone ice cream (birthday cake remix) or Frozen yogurt (plain with dark chocolate pieces)

Favorite healthy foods? Protein shakes, orange roughy, oats, yams, broccoli…I love it all!!!

Favorite fruit? Mango

Favorite salad dressing? plain balsamic vinegar

Favorite color? Turquoise and bubble gum pink

Favorite Magazine? Muscle and Fitness hers and Oxygen

Favorite animal? Zebra

Tattoos or piercings? No tats, my neck is pierced and so are my ears and my tragus

Favorite flavor? Bubble gum, cotton candy, almond and coconut (I have these extracts and add them to vanilla protein shakes mmmmm)

Favorite gum? Orbit bubble gum and sugar free juicy fruit

Where do you workout? Lifetime Fitness

Favorite body part to workout? Triceps and hamstrings

Strongest body part? My back

Least favorite body part to workout? Quads

Favorite cardio machine? Stepmill

      I am on a 40/40/20..and I eat around 1800 to 2000 cals

    Hi!
    I was wondering if you could help me figure out where I am supposed to start on my workout plan. If I am overweight should I be eating a deficit and still do lots of cardio with lifting? Or should I eat above maintenance so that I can gain muscle? I think I am probably close to where you started in your before pictures and I guess I am just confused on where I should start :/
